I am a retired educator with 38 years of experience. I served as an elementary and middle school teacher, Reading Specialist, Assistant Principal, Elementary and Middle School Principal and County Office Administrator. I have been a member of the Moreno Valley community for 34 years.
As a proud parent of three children, two who are products of the Moreno Valley Unified School District, I feel strongly that students only have one opportunity for a positive educational experience that leads to College and Career Readiness. My motto is “STANDING FOR OUR STUDENTS”.
As the School Board Vice President , I will continue to put our most precious investment (our students) as the focal point in all decision making. With our current educational crisis, I believe in accountability, transparency, open communication, and collaboration, as we work to provide a quality educational experience that is inclusive for all students.
It is of paramount importance to me to work closely with all stakeholders (Parents, Teachers, Classified staff, Administrators and District Leadership) to support the implementation of the District’s Vision and Mission. As a Moreno Valley Unified School board member, I will continue to be actively engaged in the school community and ask for your vote!
